The 1907 Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost
A. Precise in every way, down to the spare tire mounted
to the side. It was the car that set the standard for Rolls-Royce elegance. Built in 1907, the Silver Ghost was named for its quiet ride and extravagant silver appointments. Now, the oldest surviving Silver Ghost is re-created in a spectacular die-cast model. Assembled by hand from more than 150 separate components. Capturing every astonishing feature. The open-drive limousine body, characteristic of the horse-drawn carriages of the era. The distinctive grille, head and tail lamp configuration, all richly coated in sterling silver. The fully appointed interior with speaker and ear phone connecting the passenger and driver compartments. Working features include functional steering and a bonnet that opens to reveal the intricately detailed engine. The ultimate tribute to one of the world's most distinguished marques. |
