Now Texaco authorizes an extraordinary showpiece--a superb collector's knife that pays tribute to that legacy of service. The brilliant stainless steel blade bears the Texaco emblem and the slogan "Sky Chief Packs Punch." It folds snugly into a handle custom-designed to capture the look of the classic Art Deco "upright" gas pumps of the '30s and '40s, with a pommel re-creating the nostalgic gas station globe in red, black and green, symbol of quality for generations of motorists. The pump's register is surrounded by a border richly accented in gleaming sterling silver. The minted medal of Franklin Mint Collector Knives is set into the handle's reverse.
