One of the challenges James faced when transforming his sold-out print The Burden of the Responsible Man to a three-dimensional porcelain, was that he had to create the back side of a character. This challenge opened up new artistic possibilities, and of course James never disappoints. Besides those he's responsible for in the boat on his head (dangling the carrot of external motivation), his hedgehog briefcase and his nest egg—Jim has added a slew of other burdens, ranging from good health to control of the channel changer!
