This sculpture is a wonderful representation of the classic Disney story about Pinocchio. Pinocchio's father, Gepetto, wished that his marlonette Pinocchio could be a real boy. A fairy unexpectedly granted his wish. The fairy assigned Jiminy Cricket to act as Pinocchio's "conscience", keeping him out of trouble.
